Mt. Defiance It turned out to be a great day for this hike. A few other folks on the trail at the start, but, they turned back at about 3500'. The woods were very quiet and peaceful. My knees were screaming by the end of of hike, that last 1/2 mile on the hill is killer.. Jacuzzi and a chilled Merlot took care of any aches and pains. Looking forward to this...
