Hey Guys, this is the first time I've led an event. If you need any more info, please let me know.

Just another note: bring a chair! There aren't any handy rocks to sit on at the site.

Also, I've added link to some photos from last year in the event details.

Nice pics although it will be a tan hue rather than a green hue. Hopefully, Mother Nature will release cooler temperatures and keep the storms at bay around this time.

Though I don't have space in my car, post here if you're interested in carpooling. Maybe a few of you could share a ride.

I will bring a .22 single-shot and a .270 single-shot. Please bring your own hearing protection and ammunition for the .270 (a box of unleaded $50, leaded $30). Also, it is cold at 4500 AMSL. The latest storm to pass through has the brought fall-like temperatures for the highs and lows. Bring your cold weather gear. I will bring WAG bags for those "nature calls." Sorry, don't have heated seats.

I'll be leaving LA at 9am tomorrow. I'll probably get there a bit after 12:30pm. There will be people there earlier (10am). One of the guys said that he will put a sign on the short dirt road that leads to the site.

See you there!

Mike, my wife and I had a wonderful time. The marksmanship and archery contest was awesome. We would like to thank your fellow knifesmiths for their company, too. We look forward to another.

Thanks to Simple Man for showing (the only one from Outdoorsclub). We had 13 people show up and I think everyone had a great time. The food was amazing and the weather was great.

It was unfortunate that all the people that signed up here didn't show up or remove themselves from the list beforehand. I had other people I needed to turn down because I thought it was going to be too crowded.
