Regarding the beer tasting:

Vendome Banner

This Saturday's & Sunday's Beer Tasting at
Vendome in Toluca Lake
Don't forget to follow our tweets from vendometlbeer for the latest info regarding new beers, tastings, specials, and more!

Strong American & Belgian Ales

Just like what the highly descriptive title for this weekend's tasting states, these beers will be strong. They will be sipping beers that are strong in flavor and alcohol, and meant to be consumed responsibly and in a contemplative manner (or at home in any manner you so desire).

Some of the highlights of this tasting include:

Hair of The Dog Adam (an outstanding Old Ale)

Hair of The Dog Fred (an American Strong Ale made with 10 different hop varieties!)

North Coast Grand Cru (a 12.9% abv Belgian Strong Pale brewed with agave nectar and aged in oak)

The Bruery Mischief ( a peppery and fruity Belgian Golden Strong ale dry hopped with American hops)

Life & Limb Batch 2 (a collaborative effort between Sierra Nevada and Dogfish Head, brewed with maple and birch tree syrup)

As you can see, there will be some very interesting beers being poured, so if you are looking for an afternoon event to attend this weekend I believe you just found it...

To Our Tasting Bar Customers:

Just a note about parking—Although we are happy about the success of the tasting bar and how big the crowds are, unfortunately there is limited space and we need to keep the 15 minute spots open for the in-and-out customers as much as possible—We appreciate your help with this matter. There is street parking on Riverside Drive that is usually available….So, please please please, if at all possible, we ask that you park off lot for the tasting (you will receive 10% off of your tasting).
