Unfortunately, yes. Both profiles contain the same ridiculous wording. I say both, and any other memberships like this one get the BOOT immediately.

I got same too. The person is claming to be from West Africa but the emails were sent from Illinois. Some kind of a scam. If you do reply to email she sends a picture and a sob story...

It's too bad there isn't a way to to filter this kind of crap out before it happens. By my count, this person or persons, just created their 3rd profile two hours ago. Lee and Kelly's advice is best, report and block. And of course, don't responed to any of it.

Tim, I think the list of "Features and Capabilities" in SocialEngine provides a solution to this SPAM problem. I believe you can take advantage of either Email address verification or Automatic "CAPTCHA" images, or both. I doubt whether "Kate" is using real e-mail addresses, and if he/she/it is, then CAPTCHA should prevent the SPAM from being generated automatically.
