Doc,

Truth be told I found a better band. Thats life get used to it.
So now we're all supposed to feel sorry for you because your hard at work trying to scab togther some music and I sh*t on your parade. I throw top notch parties and I wasn't gonna have a half assed band.

Ya know, Matt, when we last rafted together, you made it a point of telling Trudy and me how Doc was such a good friend and how well he treated you.  What a great friend you turned out to be!

And it looks like Doc's band was good enough for your "top notch party" last year, so what happened?  I'm betting the new band is cheaper so that your profit margin is higher this year.

And, wow, that new band, Altered Pieces, sure sounds good.  Just listen to this video.....

As far as the character bashing Lee,

I think its you need to get a clue. What kind of person hangs out in an internet forum so he can post snide
remarks and rude comments. Get a Life dude.

Character bashing?  I did no such thing.  I merely told people the truth about you - how you treat your supposed friends and how you act at ODC events.

I guess that must hurt a lot.

To everyone attending the Extravaganza I personally garauntee the best three days of your life will be on this trip.

Yes, and everyone who attends should also ask for a copy of Matt's receipts so that you can calculate how much he is pocketing from this event.  And raising the price $5 from last year should ensure more profit.

Lee & Danny, take your Mattbashing off list please, its really unfun for the rest of us. There are more appropriate forums for this mess.

Just telling it like it is.  No lies.

And I think this is the perfect Forum to let people know about Matt.

Matt, isn't there a way to block postings from anyone that's not signed up for the trip? Apparently if Lee thinks this is the place to air his opinions we're all going to have to suffer them here otherwise. I'm not taking any sides in this issue but find the use of this forum for rantings a little obnoxious.

As for me making any money off of this trip I had this conversation with Tim last year. But let me break it down for you all so you can see for yourselves

Band     $500
Crawfish flown in from Louisiana 80lbs at $4.99 a lb. $400
( yep expensive huh, dont remeber seeing a live crawdad tank at the Costco do ya Lee?)
Cooking equipment, $200 (cant just throw em on the BBQ)
Potato's, hot links, corn, garlic, lemons crawfish boil seasoning     $100
2 kegs from Lengthwise Brewery + Jockey Box $224 +tx.
Ice, cups, newspapers, trash bags, propane, Gas for me to drive from Sacramento ...$150

Total $1574

Price of seeing all my friends suckin on Crawfish heads PRICELESS

I hope this squashes the Lee and Danny fiasco and we can now turn our attention to the positve and PARTY!

Blue Skies,
Matthew

Good grief! I hope this bashing on "BOTH SIDES" stops. I acknowledge that  some of you may have ill feelings towards Matt but, what does that have to do with the rest us? Are we going to change our minds not attend this activity because you have a beef with him? I think not.  What conflicts you have on both sides should be addressed between  the parties involved and the rest us of should not be have to read about the dirty laundry.

Frankly I do not give a rats *#& of any problems between Lee,  Doc and  Matt. If someone does something to me or I am not happy with the way an activity was coordinated or there was a breach of an agreement then I will deal with the individual personally and not get others involved.

I like reading this forum for productive information and not the bashing of anyone.

That's my 2 cents.

I'm a crawfish rookie.  Do I need a teammate too?  Don't wanna get to close to the eyeballs, ewh!

Matt, I think us rookies are gonna need some crawfish sucking instructions.

I have been to New Orleans many times and I have eaten my share of Crawfish. All you need to know when eating Crawfish is you shuck-em and suck-em  (get those thoughts out of you mind lol)

For those that need step by step instructions go to the following web site

OK, I'm not even going, but I have to chime in and say I wish I could be sucking crawfish too!! Matt threw a great party last year (remember the great sand rafting???) and I wish I could make it this year! While you guys are sucking crawfish, I'll be eating pizza at ChuckECheez with my nieces...suck one for me!! (that didn't sound good, did it?)

Luv, Meg

YEA RAFTING!!!

If the current weather pattern holds we could very well be rafting. The flow is holding and is only expected to get better.

I have three boats for sure with one person still out there somewhere (A'hem Jeff). So thats room for 21-27 people.

                      *First come first served*

This is an added bonus or perk if you will. Since this wasn't budgeted for in the original cost sharing that everyone pitched in for I can only be fair to everyone by saying first 25 people in wetsuits and  waiting by 9am Saturday can go.

Only two Weeks Left.

This is getting RIDICULOUS!   I'm a little sick of getting these emails and I wish they would STOP! The forum is not the place to have these kinds of discussions. I personally think that $30 is a reasonable price for a weekend of fun, crawfish and camping. If I didn't, I wouldn't have signed up for the trip. I would appreciate that if you have a problem with Matt, you discuss it with him via email and not on the forum because I'm really tired of seeing these emails. This is beyond unacceptable and immature.
