Another fun and successful event. There were 10 of us in total and we were able to blow through the clean up in record time, again. Trash removed equaled about one whole bag between the two partial bags. Paint used was about two gallons. Paint spilled on the trail to and from, about two gallons. Useless information shared between the group, lots. Getting back up that hill before it got too hot, a good thing. Many thanks to everyone once again for coming out to keep the mountain clean.

Echo Mountain and the trail leading up from Lake Ave. needs some much needed attention. There is grafitti along the 2.5 mile route leading up to the top. And even more on top along with some trash that needs to be removed from the mountain.

We wil be driving up on a closed road that will get us to within 3/4 of a mile of Echo. We will be locking the gate on the road behind us. Anyone with time issues shouldn't sign up because you will have no way out until we all leave as a group. That being said, we should be wrapping things up around 1pm.

Meeting Location: We will be meeting at Farnsworth Park just off of Lake Ave, in Altadena at 8am. From the 210 FWY. in Pasadena, exit Lake Ave. Drive north towards the mountains. The park will be on the left side of Lake Ave. as you drive up. We will be meeting in the first parking lot on Mount Curve Ave.
