Meeting at 9:00 AM and leaving at 9:05 AM

ABOUT THE HIKE: This is a dirt trail along the South ridge from Camino Los Padres where it is aligned along the east side of Golden Lantern. Much of the trail exists within the boundaries of the city of San Juan Capistrano. We will have a 360 degree view of Laguna Niguel, San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point and of the Ocean. Plus you can check out the major San Juan estates and Bear Brand Ranch. I guarantee amazing views the whole way.

DISTANCE: This hike is 7 miles. (Intermediate) Plan on 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

NOTES: Wear trail shoes, bring plenty of water, snacks and wear sun protection.

DIRECTIONS: Park and Meet SW corner of Marina Hills and Golden Lantern in Laguna Niguel. (Albertsons Shopping Center) Meet in front of the Starbucks
