Mo and Lo's ride for this week:

Start time: 8:00 a.m.

Blackstar Canyon to the Motorway.

For those that don't know:

Blackstar (~8 miles, 2000')*, turn right

Main Divide (~8 miles, 2000')*, turn right

Motorway (~3 miles, technical descent),

Silverado Canyon road ride back to cars (~7 miles descent)

* elevation estimates are highly speculative

directions to start: Go to Santiago Canyon Road in Orange County. About 7 miles from the start of Santiago, you will see the entrance to Silverado Canyon.  Turn on Silverado, go a few yards to Blackstar, turn left on Blackstar and park on the left, next to the Xmas Tree Farm.

Please be self sufficient. Bring water, food and the ability to change a flat tire.
