For those of you familiar with Crystal Cove / El Moro Canyon, we'll be heading uphill for a bit.  But the good news is, once you get up hill, it's all downhill!!!!

The Ranger Office has been closed at 6:00 so we don’t have to pay for parking.

The El Morro Canyon area of Crystal Cove State Park located off Pacific Coast Highway between Corona del Mar and Laguna Beach.  Major landmark is El Morro School which is visible from PCH on the INLAND side of PCH.
Since many of you will be arriving from here and there and everywhere, here are general directions to the CCSP: 73 to 133 towards Laguna Beach.  Turn right onto PCH. Proceed north on PCH for approximately 2 miles until you come to School-State Park Road (El Morro School). Proceed straight to the end of the road and turn right. Turn right again at the yellow gate into CCSP.

We will meet at picnic tables in front of the ranger station and decide our fates from there.  It will either be a loop or an out-and-back. Distance:  4-5 miles.  Dependent upon group size and fitness levels. I won't leave you behind on the trails!  Bring your attitude, some water, light jacket, and have fun on the trails.

RATTLESNAKES ON THE TRAIL.  BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU TREAD!

Rain and thunderstorms will cancel.  Laziness does not!
