8 spots left. Come up and pay me cash to go. I will try to refund droppers once I break even which of today 7/24/09 has not happened.
Carpools will be discussed this week. If you cannot stay until Monday feel free to leave Sunday.
This is the sequel to Mike's wonderful Rock Creek lake car camp that I went to last year.
I was able to book the same group campsite for 3 nights starting July 24 a Friday - Monday July 27th. It is so beautiful up there!!! I am sure we can find plenty to do with all the hikes, MTB fishing, hot springing, and kayaking. Hint hint bring kayaks!!
Just laying around the camp is also pleasure.
The group site is completely secluded and right on the lake . We have our own bear boxes and bathrooms. Free water is also available. Pay showers are a short drive 1-2 miles away. Mammoth, my fav place in the world is close as well.
The cost per person will be 13.00 for all 3 nights. I take paypal only. Click here www.paypal.com and pay this email Romeblu151@aol.com
Sorry no refunds.
Carpooling is strongly encouraged and I am asking each car to contribute at least 1 bundle of wood. Please bring 2 bundles if more than 2 people are in your car. I like fire. I think 10 cars or less would be fine.
Saturday night potluck is on so lets be done cooking and start munching by 7:00 pm!!! Last time the chefs were creating masterpieces till 10 pm and we were too full from earlier goodies to enjoy. Beside we need daylight to cook.
The camp is at high altitude 9K+ so expect heavy breathing and cold temps w nights in the 30s and days in the 70-80s. Sunshine is expected!
The Rock Creek Monster may make and appearance... oooooohhhhhh
Guitars, games, music, and great conversationalists welcome. Dogs are ok to as long as are friendly and I get to play with them! Sorry no kids this time.
