Hello my dear ODC friends,

As some of you have heard, I'm moving to the D.C. area on Sunday, Oct. 19th, for a new job/life . . . so, I'd love to take the day before "the  big day" to just kick back, chow down, roll in the sand, play in the water (and whatever else suits our fancy).  It will take place on a local Ventura beach (I'm open to suggestions, or I'll pick one). A very casual day: bring food or beverage or a big hug to share and I'll look forward to seeing you there!  It will be a "no rules day" .  . . we'll start meeting up around 11 AM and people can show up whenever the spirit moves them.
