Meet at the picnic bench in the State Park parking lot.   Meet at 5:45 p.m. Ride at 6:00 p.m. 

You can park in the park itself.  There is a $10 fee if the ranger's office is open.  Or you can park in the school parking lot below which is free unless you get a ticket.  No one has gotten a ticket yet but no promises.  If the ranger's office is open, I will park in the school parking lot.

Due to light restrictions we can't wait for super beginners but, I am  slow so as long as you can stay upright and keep moving forward you should have no problem keeping up.

El Moro/Crystal Cove State Park  is on the inland side of the Pacific Coast Highway between Laguna Beach and Corona Del Mar just south of the Trader Joe's shopping center. There is a traffic light at the entrance marked "Park-School".  

Helmets, bikes with thick knobby tires, gears (at least one) and brakes are an absolute must.  BTW, you can get hurt or even die mountain biking. The same applies to eating. By coming with us you will be agreeing to assume the risk of being injured or killed (or gaining weight) and not put the blame on anybody else.
