We will do a hike in the San Gabriel Mountains that follows a trail to the top of Mt. Disappointment, then another half mile on a trail to the top of San Gabriel Peak. We will return by way of the fire road.This walk offers great views of the rugged upper Arroyo Seco watershed and then views of the city when we reach the top.

This is an easy/moderate hike of about 7 miles round trip and 1400ft elevation gain. We will meet at a carpool point at 900am and then drive 14 miles up Angeles Crest Hwy to the beginning of the hike. Bring water, sunscreen, and lunch. Drivers will need an adventure pass. 

This hike will get you a nice workout and get you home in time for that hot dinner date. I will be bringing my 2 cattle dog's Rocky & Lola on the hike.

Directions: From the 210 Fwy, exit at Angeles Crest Hwy and drive north about a quarter mile to just past Milmada Dr, then park alongside the road.
