Celebrate the Pigs!

Paddle, Camp and Food Fest!
Advanced Paddlers Only! Advanced camping chefs step to the front of the line!
Note: All kayaking spaces are taken, thanks to the national park for mandating a limit. I will add a few people who will not be taking kayaks. Email me and let me know if you want to sign up as a non-kayaker.
Special thanks to those who are doubling up and going tandem.
We will be camping and kayaking on Santa Cruz Island, exploring surrounding sea, caves, and wildlife. The island is the largest in the chain and has potable water. All food and equipment must be packed a half mile from the dock to camp.
Please contact me prior to signing up to let me know your skill level. Due to the skill and strength needed for an ocean paddle, and the teamwork needed to maintain a higher level of safety, priority will be given to those who have done previous island trips with me, or have attended Scupper Supper/Wine and Cheese regularly.
I will not add you to the active list until you have been cleared and have sent in your deposit.

Trips Cost (includes passage, kayak transport, and camp site): $75
November 3-5
Training Paddles will be announced
Food distribution will be planned as we near the event (usually we do a potluck at my house following a training paddle to finalize logistics).
Trip's cost does not include kayak rentals. If you need to rent, you will need to make your own arrangements with Island Kayakers or another vender. |
